Russia’s war in Ukraine has many fronts. The Ukrainian Charitable Platform (UCP) focuses on helping families, children, and communities to survive, heal and rebuild.
All our efforts have both physical and psychological dimensions, so we work with various partner organizations in Ukraine to provide integrated support.
Our main partners in Ukraine are:
Ukrainian Education Platform, which has 20+ years of supporting child and family initiatives across the country, with a network of front-line community organizations.
Building Ukraine Together: thousands of volunteers rebuild houses and public facilities each year since the first Russian invasion in 2014.
Examples of what we and our partners do:

Emergency relief
food, shelter and humanitarian aid for displaced families and those in conflict-affected communities.

Children protection and family services
meeting the needs of children and war-affected families by strengthening community-level social services, psycho-emotional support, and family-oriented case management.

Rebuilding homes
repairing houses damaged by the war, setting up shelters.

Programs for new leaders
fostering volunteers to become ambassadors of change in local communities and develop as managers; developing women’s leadership.

UKRAINIAN CHARITABLE PLATFORM
2023 SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
Donations to Ukrainian Charitable Platform (UCP) are directly helping Ukrainians impacted by Russia’s brutal and unprovoked invasion of the country. Working through non-profit partner organisations on the ground, we are proud that UCP has:
- Through Lviv-based Ukrainian Education Platform (UEP), a social-educational Ukrainian non-profit with partner organizations throughout Ukraine, UCP has helped internally displaced mothers and children in a renovated shelter in Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine;
- Helped the victims of the Russian destruction of the Kakhovka dam which resulted in major flooding in the Kherson region in southern Ukraine;
- Provided humanitarian aid to residents of the city of Dnipro after missile attacks on apartment buildings;
- Supported families in crisis through UEP’s Good Neighbor program.
- Through Kyiv-based Eleos-Ukraine and its network, UCP has aided women and children living in women’s shelters, supported rehabilitation services to rape victims and humanitarian aid to residents of the Kherson region who endure daily attacks from Russian forces. A recent donation will be utilized for the needs of the military hospital in Kherson.
- In addition, UCP has supported the work of Kyiv-based Ukrainian Women’s Fund, a feminist organization helping women caught in the crisis of war.
- Provided unrestricted donations which strengthen the capacities and effectiveness of the Ukrainian non-profits noted above.
