In order to strengthen Ukrainian society together with our partner — Ukrainian Education Platform we provide a huge variety of educational programs aimed at public and religious organizations, specialists in the social sphere, development of women leadership, mental health awareness & fostering conscious citizenship.
For now, we are scaling our educational programs to the South, North & East of Ukraine.
Educational programs for public and religious organizations. Іmplement a gradual (for different levels of expertise) set of educational programs to grow local teams of civic activists and their ideas. Within the framework of the "Active Church in the Community", "Social Innovations in Local Communities" and "School of Responsible Ministry" programs, we strengthen local changemakers by: 1) training in social management, 2) granting to implement projects, 3) mentoring throughout project implementation.
Education for specialists in the social sphere. Together with government organizations and local municipalities, we develop and implement educational programs for specialists in the social sphere. We also guide social sphere workers in introducing/transforming social services in their communities (co-design community analysis, provide consulting and resource support in developing the social service, supervise its implementation).
Educational program on mine safety. The program helps children learn to recognize explosive objects and be aware of the rules of behavior with them. As part of the project, we teach mine safety rules to school teachers in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad and Zaporizhzhya regions.
Development of women leadership. Program “WOWoman. Potential in you” is a value-based leadership development program. It aims to: 1) create a vivid community of women holding/aspiring for leading roles in the society, 2) equip these women with soft and hard skills for exercising their leadership potential. It is achieved through a series of training, recreational and networking events, mentorship program, and an opportunity to develop a non-profit or for-profit project with expert and financial support by UEP.
Mental Health. This direction of work was born from the Mental health hub "Diyaty", which was the response to the war.The goal of this project is to alleviate the short-term psychological pain and reduce it’s protracted impact on Ukrainian society. All types of activities are aimed at combining psychological and spiritual recovery provided by a professional team. Lviv is the location of this project’s pilot, and now scaling to other regions is being negotiated.
Also, we are in process of implementing the first set of the program “Mental Health Aware Church” aiming at raising Church capacity to respond to war-traumatized Ukrainian society needs through equipping Church community leaders with psychological knowledge applicable to their community service.
Fostering conscious citizenship. Now being on the research stage, we aim during 2023 to introduce in our educational programs for CSOs and civic society leaders a conscious/active citizenship component. We define an active citizen as a person who believes that every person has a voice which we have the privilege and responsibility to use, and so we participate in improving our community and nation.
