Dear friends of Ukraine,

We, the team of Ukrainian education platform, want to thank the international community for the prayers, public announcements, peaceful demonstrations, and other expressions of support we feel today. We believe it’s the common values of the democratic world we stand for.

And now, we need your help to resist.

First of all, what is going on?

Ukraine officially introduced (https://cutt.ly/XPMJhJ1) martial law for 30 days. It happened after on Thursday, February 24th, 2022, shelling and attacks took place in several cities – now far away from the demarcation line, including the capital of Kyiv. We were sure of the Russian involvement since the first hours, as the Ukrainian army has downed (https://cutt.ly/gPMJn8v) several Russian jets by Thursday’s morning.

What does our organization do to support the Ukrainians?

  1. Ukrainian education platform will soon be transformed into a Coordination Center for people leaving the territories under risk.
  2. We will spread our messages to foreign media, so we are also relying on your help in this.

Now, what exatly can you do?

  1. Please pray for Ukraine. Organize a joint prayer for Ukraine in your church, community, or family.
  2. We, as UEP, are now working on accumulating an emergency fund to: 1) carry out our activity as a Coordination Center for the displaced, 2) ensure financial safety for our team and our partners, engaged in social services all-over Ukraine.   1. In the event of a full-scale war in Lviv, where we operate, we will be forced to relocate some of our personnel. In this case, we ask you for your support. It is essential for us to know about the possibility of relocation and your support within Europe. If necessary, our organization could continue to work and serve our citizens.
  2. Check your news sources. Russian propaganda works well, and many Western media are poisoned by it. Choose the news sources you trust carefully, make sure they are not financed by Russia and double-check the information.   3. Spread the information further. Here’s what you can do as a private person (https://cutt.ly/OPMHYDc). Also, make sure you choose correct terms when talking about the Russia-Ukraine war.
