The scale of ecocide, genocide that russia continues to create on the territory of our State is horrifying! But they force us to cooperate to help everyone who needs it.
On 6 June, at night, the russian army blew up the Kakhovka HPP which caused the flooding of the Ukrainian lands of the Kherson region. On the same day, we received a letter from the Association of the Ukrainian Peacekeeping School asking for financial assistance to purchase the necessary equipment to rescue the affected Ukrainians.
Thanks to our partners and donors, we promptly purchased 5 inflatable boats with paddles, 5 motor pumps with hoses for pumping water in yards and houses, and 9 armoured suits.
‘We appreciate your organisation’s quick response. As of today, everything seems to be there. However, epidemiologists are sounding the alarm that an outbreak of infectious diseases may occur, so we look ahead to what we need to have tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. These are drinking water and medicines; I think they will be extremely important’, Oleksandr Kobets, head of the Association of the Ukrainian Peacekeeping School, tells about the situation in Kherson.
We join and help the victims in the Kherson region. What we are urging you to do, too.
