More than 280 tons of food kits for the occupied and frontline communities.

More than 280 tons of food kits for the occupied and frontline communities of Zaporizhzhia were handed over to local organisations together with RE:ACT Disaster Response in July–October

‘Sometimes, our missions can be very scary, especially when you start hearing explosions nearby. I believe that my worst experience was when we came under direct fire twice, but you get used to the fighting and just continue to help.’ Denys Waschuk, Zaporizhzhia, NGO Indifferent People

Together with partners, over a period of four months of work, we managed to deliver 14,000 food kits to the temporarily occupied Berdyansk and Prymorsk, as well as front-line cities and villages: Otradne, Novopetrivka, Avhustynivka, Novokalynivka, Novoivanivka, Uspenivka, Zapasne, Novohryhorivka, Huliaipole, Rybne, Orikhiv, Mykilske, Chervonyi Yar, Shyrokivska Hromada, Krasnohorivka, Petro-Mykhailivska Hromada, Mykhailivka, Omelnyk, Mala Tokmachka

‘Our warriors defend and fight for every scrap of land without saying, “I will fight for that piece, and for this one, I won’t”. And they lay down their lives for it. At our front, we must fight for every moment of a worthy life of a citizen of Ukraine. And only then will we be a strong, cool, and independent country!’ says Director of the Ukrainian Education Platform Marjana Kashchak
