Since the beginning of April, our programme The Community for Family together with the international organisation SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine has launched a project to support families with children in wartime #SOSDITY.
The task that we set for ourselves at the project start is to help families with children to settle in a new place and provide them with the necessary humanitarian, social, and psychological assistance.
As of today, we have provided humanitarian aid and social support for
2,376 families with 6,453 children in Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, and Chernivtsi Oblasts.
Also, within the framework of the project, we create focal points in each region that:
meet families with children and provide them with information support regarding the settlement.
provide families with food, medical and sleeping kits.
provide social support: assistance with paperwork, kindergarten or school, etc.
provide families with the possibility of psychological assistance.
